Ranch owners have drilling privileges into the massive Coconino Aquifer below, the largest freshwater basin in northern Arizona. Depths to water are economical and windmill driven pumping is both practical and common.

Area organic gardens produce healthy harvests of corn, wheat, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, peaches, pears and a host of other garden vegetables and fruit trees. A pesticide free sandy loam soil covers each parcel, nourishing a variety of range grasses and mountain wildflowers, providing an ideal base for organic orchards and gardens.
